If you'd like to be featured on Mauve et Blush as a real wedding couple or vendor, or as a guest blogger please review our guidelines below and submit your article to

Have you recently gotten married or been involved in the planning of a real wedding? We'd love to hear from you!

Who can submit?

Everyone is welcome: Wedding Photographers, Planners, Couples, and Suppliers. Before making a submission, please make sure you have the permission of the couple and the photographer.

What info do I need to include?

Please provide the following content in your submission:

  • Couple's names and wedding date
  • Wedding story (ideally 500-1,000 words)
  • Venue and location
  • Wedding style
  • Vendor credits (vendor category, name, URL and Instagram handle)
  • Photos: 15-50 (via GoogleDrive or WeTransfer)

How should I describe the wedding?

We like to receive details from the couple, but it's not a must that it comes from them. Specific details may include: the proposal story, overall inspiration for the event/ design, color theme, unique elements or DIY details, favorite moments, advice for future brides-to-be, and descriptions of the flowers, gown, favors, cake etc. A well-rounded narrative helps the article come to life on the page!

Can I edit my submission after I have submitted it?

Yes. If you think of something extra to add to your submission email us at to have our editors include any updates before the article is published. If the article is already published and needs a correction, include CORRECTION in the subject line of your email.

What is your review process?

Our editors review all submissions and select based on quality of the photography and the content provided. They look for beautiful wedding gowns and settings, unique stories, and personality that pops. When determining when to post a submission, our editors consider location, season, venue and vendors.

How long does it take to hear back after submitting?

It is our goal to respond to submissions within 5 days, and normally do so sooner. If you haven't heard from us after this time-frame, please send a follow-up email.

My submission was accepted! When will it get published?

As soon as our editors schedule your feature, they will send you a publication date for when it will go live. Please respond to any questions from our team as soon as possible if we think something is missing in order to keep your feature on our content calendar.

Will the vendors credited in the feature receive notice?

No; only the submitter will receive the publication confirmation and we rely on you to help spread the word to all other vendors.

What types of images and sizes should I submit?

All images must be 5MB or less, and should be a mix of horizontal and vertical images. We love color photos since they look best on our blog, but will include a few black and white as well. Please include a variety of shots to help tell the wedding story: the bride(s), apparel & accessories, the getting ready process, the bridesmaids, flowers, decor, invitations, couple, guests, venue etc. Images that are very dark may not display well online.

We're always on the hunt for talented writers and experts in the field who can offer M+B readers tips and recommendations to enhance their wedding planning process. We're interested in wedding-related content in the following categories:

  • Wedding Planning & Decoration
  • Destination Weddings
  • Honeymoon & Travel
  • Wedding Fashion & Beauty
  • Engagements
  • Relationship Advice
  • Registry
  • DIY
